Made from grapes harvested in the Douro River valley in the north of Portugal, in its middle reaches. It was matured for several years in oak barrels until it reached an amber-brown (fawn) color. It has a unique taste that is a combination between fruity youth and maturity and a refined bouquet with a hint of hazelnuts and figs.
