import - Australia Margaret River Region, Western Australia dry, red wine 0.75 L; alc
14.5% vol. The highest quality, flagship wine of the Sandalford vineyard was made up of 100% Shiraz grapes from 50-year-old vines from hand-selected grapes from a small vineyard in Margaret River. The old vine uniquely refined the wine, giving it a warm, peppery taste. The entire wine making process proceeded exclusively using traditional wine-making techniques. It ripened in new French oak barrels for 13 months. Only 17 barrels of this wine were created. It has a dark cherry color and a very intense bouquet of mulberry, cherry and forest fruit with root notes of cinnamon, anise and nutmeg. In the mouth it is full, with the dominant taste of blackberry, cherry, blackcurrant and coffee. This wine is heavily built, thick, rich, with a noticeable influence of oak. It is ready to eat, but it will age extremely beautiful by 2035. Best venison, kangaroo steak and mature beef. Product
Australian Shiraz is French Syrah. Due to different climate, Shiraz is more spicy and you can taste dark chocolate in it.
A characteristic feature of the Australian Riesling is that the wine acquires smoky smell as it ages. Often there is a hint of gasoline, this is not a sign of wine spoilage, but an unique feature.
