Israel Tishbi Estate Winery, Zichron Yaacov, Israel
The Tishbi series of wines represents a balance between youth and vitality
Tishbi Cabernet Petite Sirah is a young, refreshing wine made from a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah varietals. Its dark red color comes from the Petite Sirah varietal, while Cabernet Sauvignon provides the appropriate acidity and structure to the wine. The aroma is most noticeable with tones of strawberries and herbs. Recommended for consumption as a young wine, not stored too long.
Serve especially with pasta dishes, red meat, and as an aperitif.
To be considered kosher, Sabbath-observant Jews must supervise and sometimes handle the entire winemaking process, from the time the grapes are crushed until the wine is bottled and any ingredients used, including finings, must be kosher.
